Strong by name, Strong by nature.
If you’ve met, spoken to, or heard of Sarah Strong, this is the overriding feeling you take away with you.
It’s not because she is faster than a speeding bullet. It’s not because she is more powerful than a speeding locomotive. It’s not even because she can leap tall buildings in a single bound. No, it’s because of the unerring grace, charm and positivity that Sarah shows, no matter what cards life throws on the table.
In many ways, literally hundreds of people owe Sarah their life. As a Nurse she has treated, aided and helped heal more people than she’d care to mention. Not that she would mention them, her humility wouldn’t let her. As a Stewardess, Sarah also ensured that not a single passenger on her watch had succumbed to hunger, boredom or a flight wondering how to adjust their inflatable life jacket.
Now it’s our turn. We, Sarah’s family and friends, are asking everyone we can to help. Sarah’s life has been turned upside down with some tragic news, and we’re leaving no stone unturned in our efforts to ensure that from here on in, Sarah will lead the life that she desires, and her life of service to others will not go unrewarded in her hour of need.
Sarah has cancer. We have hope. With your help, we can make a difference.

Congratulations Sarah and Glen! December 2008.
